Gert Cielen has been appointed as Aurora-Productions’ new CEO with effect from 16th January.
Gert (41) graduated from Maastricht University with an MBA and has acquired extensive experience in management positions at various family businesses and in transformation towards growth.
He’ll be succeeding Eric Willems (64), who will stay on for a further three months to guarantee continuity and an efficient succession. Eric will subsequently focus amongst others on developing his sales and marketing company, on his new position as head of Studio Vandersteen and on maintaining various Board of Directors and Advisory Board mandates in Belgium and the Netherlands.
