Did you know that an estimated 64 million kilograms of plastic fishing nets disappear into our oceans every year? They don't break down but linger there for centuries. Fish, seals, dolphins, and turtles get entangled in them.
That can and should be different, don't you think?
That's why the cover of this notebook is made from broken fishing nets and old fishing lines. We collect that waste together with the fishing industry and recycle it into new covers. This way, these fishing nets no longer end up in the sea, and we also emit less CO2. Together, we keep our oceans clean!

So, our notebooks are not only beautiful and sturdy, but they are also PEFC-certified because the wood fibers in our paper come from responsibly managed forests. Furthermore, we develop and produce 95% of our paper goods in Belgium, and we also use solar energy for this purpose. In this way, we keep our ecological footprint small.
